Course Transfer Policies

  • A maximum of 12 graduate credit hours may be transferred from another nationally and regionally accredited college/university.
  • Graduate nursing courses with a grade of "B" or better will be considered for potential transfer into the MSN program.
  • A copy of the course syllabus must be submitted for review prior to acceptance as a transfer course. Faculty reserve the right to request examples of course work for evaluation from classes for which credit is being sought.
  • APRN specialty courses from an outside institution will not be considered for transfer credit.
  • Refer to USI's Transfer Credit Policy for more information.

 *Acceptance of course transfer credit is at the discretion of the Graduate Chair or designee.

  • Graduate nursing courses with a grade of "B" or better will be considered for potential transfer into the Post-MSN APRN Certificate program. 
  • A copy of the course syllabus must be submitted for review prior to acceptance as a transfer course. Faculty reserve the right to request examples of course work for evaluation from classes for which credit is being sought.
  • APRN specialty courses from an outside institution will not be considered for transfer credit.

  • Graduate nursing courses with a grade of "B" or better will be considered for potential transfer into the Graduate Nursing Program.
  • A copy of the course syllabus must be submitted for review prior to acceptance as a transfer course. Faculty reserve the right to request examples of course work for evaluation from classes for which credit is being sought.
