January 2027 - Project proposals should be reviewed and approved by teachers and IRB (if required by ISEF Rules). Please see the "Getting Started" tabs on the left side for grade-specific information. Experimentation should be completed by February 1.
February 8, 2027 - Teacher/Adult Sponsor Registration Deadline. Teachers/Adult Sponsors wishing to enter exhibitors into the fair must register for a SEFI account by this date.

February 8, 2027 – Senior division online registration (www.sefireg.org) and the following Senior Division paperwork is due for all senior division exhibitors.
All paperwork, excluding the USI Photo Release Form, must be submitted electronically via the SEFI registration website (www.sefi.org/register).
USI Photo Release Forms (now digital) are required for each exhibitor at the fair. This form can be submitted at any time prior to the fair.
