Book a Field Trip

Sessions focus on real-world problem-solving and STEM exploration. We can routinely accommodate groups of up to 40 students in 60-90 minute sessions. Larger groups of 41 - 80 students may be accommodated on a single day if space and staffing are available; additional fees may apply.  One (1) adult chaperone is required per every ten (10) students.

Cost: $5/student
Ideal Student Group Size per Day: 40 students/day
Maximum Student Group Size per Day: 80 students/day; additional fees may apply

1. Select your lesson from the USI Discovery Lab Catalog.
   
   
2. Complete the field trip request form 
   Please Note: Field trip requests must be made at least 3 weeks in advance. See below for black-out dates when no field trips will be scheduled. 
   
   
3. Within 3 business days, a representative of the USI STEM Discovery Lab will reach out to you via phone or email to coordinate and finalize the details of your field trip. The billing contact indicated on the reservation form will receive an agreement including required waivers after your reservation has been finalized. Money cannot be accepted upfront or on the day of your field trip. Your billing contact will receive an electronic invoice for the full amount due after the conclusion of your field trip. 
   
   
4. You will receive a confirmation email with your finalized field trip plans.
