Welcome Back Weeks Events

Welcome back to the University of Southern Indiana! We are excited to kick off the new semester with our Welcome Back Weeks – a series of events and activities designed to help you get settled, meet new people, and make the most of your time here at USI.

Welcome Desk:

If you're looking for information, directions, or just a friendly face, make sure to stop by our Welcome Desk! It's located at UC West (by Chick-fil-A) and is available from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, January 13-14. Our team of faculty, staff, and students will be there to help you with anything you need, whether it’s picking up a campus map, learning about events, or getting tips on navigating USI. Free cookies and hot cocoa will also be available while supplies last!

Find My Class Event:

Are you ready for your first day of classes but unsure where your classrooms are? Join us for the Find My Class events! Our Welcome Back Week leaders will guide you to each of your scheduled classrooms and help you become familiar with the campus layout. This is a great opportunity to ease any first-day nerves and ensure you’re on track for success.

• Dates: Saturday, January 11 and Sunday, January 12
• Times: 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

New Student Tip-Off:

Get ready for an unforgettable experience at the University of Southern Indiana’s New Student Tip-Off! Join us on January 16th for an exclusive event designed for new students. You’ll enjoy the excitement of USI basketball from a private suite during both the men’s and women’s games, where you can mingle with fellow new students, savor free food, and immerse yourself in the action. It’s the perfect opportunity to connect, show your school spirit, and create lasting memories. Don’t miss this chance to be part of the fun—see you there!
