Building Community and a Sense of Service
Honors students are expected to engage with the campus and community through events and activities that promote learning, service, and connection.
Requirements
- Earn an average of 3 activity points per semester, totaling around 6 per academic year
- If you fail to meet this requirement over the course of the academic year, you will be placed on Honors Alert
- You must make up your missed points and also earn the expected amount the following semester to return to good standing
- Complete the activity points form to receive credit for your involvement in events.
Exceptions & Special Cases
- Studying abroad? You're exempt from the activity point requirement during that semester
- Joining mid-semester? Your point requirement will be pro-rated
- Details will be included in your acceptance letter
