Matt Merlo is a physicist with a bachelor's degree from Michigan Technological University. His doctorate research at Florida Institute of Technology focused on active galactic nuclei. An active member of the American Astronomical Society, Merlo has been a faculty member at USI since 2014 where he imparts his expertise in physics and astronomy to students.
